School uniforms have arrived

Major school uniform supplier Eveni Carruthers has announced that their delayed shipment of fabric has finally arrived.

The retail giant announced earlier this year that a shipment from December 2020, set to bring fabric for school uniforms, was going to be delayed until March, weeks after schools were set to start for the year. A few schools were affected by the delay, with some parents resorting to buying different coloured fabrics for their children's uniforms.

A statement was issued last week, announcing the arrival of the delayed shipment.

“With the arrival of the latest shipment, we can certify that all the school uniforms we stock are fully compliant with the specifications of the relevant schools,” said Retail Operations Manager, Selina Lefao in a statement issued by the company.

The retailer had offered a discount for pre-orders, and this week said they were pleased that this was taken up by some customers.

“Reservation orders ensure customers will have their uniform held for a period of time with an added 20% off discount as school uniforms are limited this year. We would like to thank all our customers for their patience and understanding during this time.

“We are working quickly to honour all pre-orders and to make stock available. Given the current pandemic climate, this order is limited”, said Lefao.

The company is also making all efforts to have the school uniforms for their Savaii branch available as soon as possible.

“We continue to support all efforts to protect our borders during COVID-19 and wish to thank all the teams involved in this national effort," concluded the Manager in the company statement.
