Environmentalist and former Member of Parliament, Toeolesulusulu Cedric Schuster, will run for the Aana Alofi No 3. constituency in the 2021 General Election.

A former Member of the Tautua Samoa Party, Toeolesulusulu will be flying the Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi [F.A.S.T.] banner.

He confirmed his candidacy when contacted by the Samoa Observer but declined to comment.

“Thank you, but I will not make a statement at the moment,” he said during a brief phone interview.

Toeolesulusulu registered at the Office of the Electoral Commission [O.E.C.] on Monday this week.

He lost his seat in the last general election to the incumbent M.P. and current Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Afamasaga Rico Tupai.
