A young baker with a passion to help others continues to touch people with her generosity and drive to make a difference in Samoa and the world.

Seirosa Wallwork-Lamb has added a $3,000 donation to survivors of physical and sexual abuse housed at Campus of Hope shelter to the list charities she has helped over the years.

To date, the number of abused children at the Campus of Hope under Samoa Victim Support Group has increased past its normal average intake of 70 children, to the 100 plus women and children now in residence.

The 13-year-old student of Robert Louis Stevenson School also shared with the survivors a message of “I can’t imagine what it’s like to go through what you have gone through,” she said.

“I hope that God continues to give you the strength to go through every day,” she said.

“It is because what you are going through is nothing any child should ever have to go through.

“And I’m so sorry for what has happened. I hope this donation will help in any simple way.”

The Good Samaritan behind the Cookies for Charity bakes cookies not for herself, but for those in need.

This time, it was for the children survivors of sexual and domestic violence cared for at the Campus of Hope shelter facility.

During her gift presentation, she wrote a message titled: ‘To all the brave heroes at S.V.S.G. with love from Seirosa.’

She also expressed in front of the children, her gratitude and admiration for the children’s bravery.

Accompanying Ms. Lamb was her mother Su’a Hellene Wallwork-Lamb on behalf of Seirosa’s father Travis Lamb and the rest family.

According to the president of S.V.S.G., Siliniu Lina Chang, she said that the children of hope continue to be blessed by the generosity of the community and the gratitude expressed towards the children for being brave.

“Thank you so much Seirosa for honoring God’s commandment of loving your neighbours as thyself.

“We look forward to seeing you again to help with the young ones reading, whenever you are available.

“Thank you also to your parents Travis and Su’a Hellene Lamb for supporting you in your charity work. God bless you and your family always.”
