Ministry of Agriculture suspends all programmes
The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (M.A.F.) is suspending all its current programmes due to the declaration of the state of emergency to address the coronavirus threat.
The Ministry has advised in a public notice that all its programmes will now be temporarily halted in line with the S.O.E.
These include workshops, site visits and projects such as the Samoa Agriculture and Fisheries Productivity and Marketing Project, which was set to be commissioned at around this time.
The public was advised in the notice to contact any of the MAF offices for further queries. The Ministry also asked the public to listen to the radio or watch television for any further updates in relation to their programmes.
The notice was signed by Tilafono David Hunter, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
