Poetry competition dedicated to mothers
Chan Mow Company Limited hosted a poetry competition for children to express their love for their mothers on Mother's Day.
The competition revolved around the theme "the essence of a mother" with six children participating and giving their definition and interpretation of a mother's love.
Chan Mow representative, Galumalemana Toilupe, said mothers are the number one supporters and partners of their company, and the competition was to show appreciation for all mothers.
"For saying this, our goods and products that we sell are always targeting the mothers because their customer service is a daily help to the company in terms of the kind of goods and products we sell," Galumalemana said.
The poem competition was an initiative of the Chan Mow manager which will now become an annual event to coincide with Mother's Day celebrations.
"Children have the best knowledge and understanding of the lives of their mother so we thought they are the best way and the best deliverers of the message," Galumalemana said.
