New Head of State takes his oath

The new Head of State, His Highness Tuimaleali’ifano Va’aletoa Sualauvi II the second has taken his oath.
He was sworn in this afternoon at Parliament’s makeshift complex at Tuanaimato.
The ceremony was attended by hundreds of people who immediately headed to Gym 3 for traditional formalities and a feast that followed.
