PM and others conspiracy decision adjourned again
District Court Judge Talasa Atoa–Saaga once again adjourned her decision in the conspiracy case against the Prime Minister, Laaulialemalietoa Leuatea Schmidt, and five others to 27 March.
She said she has not finalised her decision and needs another week.
"As I've said before, this is not easy, and more time is needed," she said. "I apologise for another adjournment and reassure you that this will be the last.”
Laaulialemalietoa Leuatea Schmidt, Fepuleai Faimata Sua, Fataumalama Lio, Lise-Marie Schmidt, Sam Sua, and Sivai Kepi are all facing conspiracy and defamation charges. The charges include conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, fabricating evidence, and defamation.
