A local bank has increased its number of automated teller machines (ATMs) to 39 across the nation by adding two more.

Bank South Pacific (BSP) announced new ATMs at Myna's Supermarket, Vailima and Keke’s Store and Bakery, Safata.

“We are dedicated to making banking services more accessible for our communities and visitors. The addition of ATMs at Myna's Supermarket and Keke’s Store and Bakery ensures that both local and overseas visitors can conveniently access their funds while enjoying these vibrant areas,” said Tunumafono Jennifer Ula- Fruean, Country Manager for Bank South Pacific (Samoa).

According to a statement, the ATMs provide added convenience to complement the long-standing agent services at these locations enabling customers to withdraw from their accounts and deposit funds into their accounts for many years.

Keke’s Store and Bakery, a BSP agent, now offers ATM services.

Pelenatete Luka, owner of Keke’s Store and Bakery expressed her heartfelt gratitude to BSP for installing an ATM at their shop in Safata.

“The addition of these ATMs at Myna’s Mart and Keke’s Store and Bakery not only provides easy access to funds but also enhances the banking experience for our local communities and overseas visitors alike. Whether you’re a resident or a tourist, these ATMs are here to meet your banking needs,” added Tunumafono.

These additional ATMs bring the total number of ATMs to 39 across 34 locations in Samoa including 34 ATMs in Upolu and five in Savaii.  The EFTPOS network now spans over 350 merchants and 38 active agents.

BSP said it remained committed to improving financial accessibility across Samoa by expanding its network of ATMs and enhancing services to meet the needs of its customers.
