The police are investigating the mysterious death of a 35-year-old man whose body was found at Satapuala.

Assistant Police Commissioner Papalii Monalisa Tiai-Keti confirmed that the man was found dead two weeks ago and investigations are continuing to conclude the case of death.

Papalii also stated that when the man's body was found there were no bruises on his body and no foul play is suspected at the moment.

Papalii added that the police during the investigation have spoken to family members and those who had contact with the person.

Police are also looking at a case where the body of a young girl from a village in the Aana District was recovered.

At this point, it is suspected that the teenager‘s death may have been self-inflicted.

The incident occurred on the weekend. Papalii says it was sad for the family of the young girl.

Videos posted by families and friends went viral on social media. Investigations are still ongoing to ascertain what led to the teenager taking her own life.

Some friends on Facebook described her as a beautiful, loving and smart girl and it's very hard for them to believe that she was gone.
