Bluewave Wireless donated a new laptop centre and resources to Solosolo LDS Study Centre to empower Samoan communities.

This generous contribution was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Bluewave Wireless, Talamua Media, and E3 Samoa Trust, with deep roots in the village of Solosolo, particularly within the Leota To'omata Family.

The request for assistance came from Bishop Tavita Teofilo, who, along with the church community, expressed the need for digital resources to support education and community development.

The donation was officially handed over to Pastor Tavita and the LDS of Solosolo Study Center last Tuesday, with church members and children in attendance, marking a momentous occasion for the community.

This donation is part of Bluewave Wireless's ongoing commitment to empowering Samoan communities through digital access. With the addition of the Solosolo LDS Study Center, Bluewave Wireless and its local partners have now donated over 500 laptops to schools and study centres across Samoa, spanning Savaii, Manono, and Upolu.

Togisala Tony Leota, CTO and Community Communications Officer of Bluewave Wireless highlighted the importance of this initiative.

"For Samoans to thrive in today's digital age and future endeavours, it is crucial that they have access to devices, the internet, and capacity-building workshops. These resources will empower them with the digital skills and confidence needed to navigate the endless opportunities and resources available in the digital realm," he said.
