The first judged categories for the Digicel Miss Samoa 2024 pageant were showcased on Wednesday evening at the scenic Matagialalua.

The premiere night, which was open to the public free of charge, drew hundreds of enthusiastic Samoans who gathered behind the Government Building to witness the grandeur of the evening.

The evening was a visual feast and also a milestone for Onomea Production.

Chairwoman Leituala Kuiniselani Toelupe Tago highlighted that Wednesday marked a significant first anniversary since their effort to make the pageant more accessible and rooted in the community.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Toeolesulusulu Cedric Schuster said emphasised the pageant's role in preserving Samoan culture, empowering women, and showcasing the talents of young tama'ita'i Samoa.

As the excitement builds, the pageant’s pre-event interviews are scheduled for Thursday, with the highly anticipated crowning night set for Saturday.
