Good news all around as fuel prices decrease yet again with the February prices come into effect making this the third consecutive month that fuel prices have dropped.

Petrol drops by 2.7 sene from $3.15 per litre to $3.12 per litre, diesel goes down from $3.38 per litre to $3.32 per litere, a drop of 6 sene. Keresone also drops from $3.00 per litre to $2.98 per litre.

The Ministry of Finance in its release said crude prices continued to decrease in December despite the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) slowing down the supply and global concerns regarding the conflict between Hamas and Israel.

However, freight prices may still be high as Houthi militants keep attacking ships in the Red Sea.
