Justice boss gets law degree
The Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) for the Ministry of Justice and Courts Administration, Papali'i John Taimalelagi is now a legal professional after attaining his Bachelor of Law (L.L.B.) degree from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.
Auckland Law School is the top-ranked law school in Aotearoa New Zealand and one of the best law schools in the world.
The Ministry through its official social media account congratulated their boss on his achievement and wished him all the best with his other plans.
"Massive congratulations to our Chief Executive Officer Afioga Papalii John Taimalelagi for officially completing four years of studies for a Bachelor of Law in New Zealand."
Papali'i was first appointed as the C.E.O. for M.J.C.A. from 2016 to 2019. He was re-appointed by the current administration last year to lead the ministry.
He has an extensive experience and knowledge of the work within the ministry having worked there for over 10 years before he was appointed C.E.O. in 2016.
After he exited the ministry in 2019, he moved with his family to New Zealand where he worked in the court system in the New Zealand Ministry of Justice.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the South Pacific in 2003 and also passed a Certificate of Samoan Customary Mediation from Otago University.
Papali'i celebrated his achievement with his family and close friends.
