A telecommunication service provider has made access to businesses much easier with the launch of their new product, a Yellow Pages telephone directory which is in Samoan and English on Monday.

Vodafone Samoa launched the telephone directory which lists all of Samoa's businesses, government ministries and enterprises was called a significant milestone.

It  was launched at the Vodafone Samoa Headquarters by the Chief Commercial Officer Sudhir Thangarajan, Chief Finance Officer Anish Chandra, Acting Regulator Perelini Lameko and Regulatory and Consumer Division Officer Venus Iosefa.

This initiative's primary goals are to improve accessibility, boost economic growth, and fortify the ties that bind communities and businesses together.

The Yellow Page offers user-friendly means to discover local government, businesses, services and contact information which serves as a valuable resource for residents and visitors in Samoa.

The multilingual Samoan and English Yellow Pages 2023 offers emergency protocols in the event of a tropical storm, flood, earthquake, landslide and volcano as well as providing comprehensive listing features and one-stop-shop for users.

Vodafone's Chief Commercial Officer, Sudhir Thangarajan highlighted the value of the Yellow Pages Samoa and its vital function of helping people with all the information they require.

 “The Yellow Pages are essentially a book with contact information for all businesses, government agencies, and private companies. This way, when someone has to get in touch, they can always rely on this page to provide them with the correct number and other necessary information.”

The telecommunication company launched its last Yellow Pages in 2019, but COVID-19 and other factors contributed to the delay, but on Monday, the company finally achieved its pending goal.

The Yellow Pages is available for purchase at all Vodafone Samoa retail locations for SAT$10, however copies are provided free of charge to all advertisers and government agencies.

The introduction of Yellow Pages 2023 Samoa is evidence of Vodafone's dedication to offering beneficial tools that support both governments and businesses while raising the standard of service for both locals and visitors from outside Samoa.
