Miss Samoa beauties shine on premier night
Hundreds gathered at the Government Buildings to see the 10 Miss Samoa beauties make their public appearance at their premier night which doubled as the sarong and puletasi competition.
One of the contestants, Miss Arilei Karameli Serah Purcell shared her experience on the journey towards the crowning night.
“It’s exciting and tiring. I’m so grateful for the experience so far and it really has been a lot of fun getting to know the other contestants,” she said.
“I think it’s been a real eye opener as to how much work goes on behind the scenes. So as much fun as I am having right now, I’ve also had to adapt to the long days and am so grateful to my team who believe in me this much to go to these lengths. I’m also so grateful to my family who have given me so much support and have supported my sponsors doing what they can to help.
“It really is a team effort and I hope I will make them proud on that stage. The time for preparation is almost over and now we give it to God.”
The contestants took to the runway before the crowd showing off their sarongs and puletasi wear. Once the judges made their decisions they seal the results and await for the crowing night to announce the results
