Samoa’s golden boy Ato Plodzicki-Faoagali is already six weeks into an intensive training routine preparing for his fight here in Samoa against the Fijian fighter Isikeli “The Bullet” Senidoko.

In an interview with the Samoa Observer he revealed his plans to be in Samoa before the Independence celebrations start and join along with the festivities and also confirming his attendance to the Motherland Samoa Music Festival.

He asks his country for help and support by keeping him in their prayers as he continues his fight preparations.

“I know I can fight in Australia, New Zealand or America, but I love fighting in Samoa to start my professional career so I hope Samoa really gets behind me and supports my climb up the professional boxing ranks,” said Faoagali

When asked about what sort of game plan he had in store against Senidoko, he replied with a smile and said that it was a secret and is looking forward to put on a spectacular show on the night and to potentially surprise everyone with another victory bout.

“I wouldn’t be fighting if I didn’t think I can win the fight,” he replied confidently.

As always he will dedicate his victory to his late Mother Monica Plodzicki-Faoagali and this would be a perfect Mother’s day gift for her despite the fight being several weeks later.

This will be his second professional fight after he made is professional boxing debut on 25 November 2022 where he took on Apisai Naciqa and won the fight by TKO.
