Top performing Tanoa Tusitala Hotel employees have been recognised and were given awards recently in the hotel's quarterly end-of-year awards.

A total of 15 staff members of the hotel were recognised under the business awards program, which is offered to staff employees to boost their performance, the hotel said in a media release issued to the Samoa Observer. The awards were given to employees who excelled in the third and fourth quarters of the year. 

 Tanoa Tusitala Hotel General Manager Jay Krishna said in his opening remarks at the awards ceremony that the awards were given to the hotel's selfless and committed staff for their contribution to the expansion of services provided to all their guest.

He added that the awards were intended to inspire all employees to do their best in order to maintain the hotel's reputation for providing excellent services to clients from all over the world.

According to the hotel's Operations and Sales Manager, Diedre Tavita Meredith, the awards are merit-based in recognition of dedication and resilience by employees towards their daily tasks.

She then urged the recipients of the awards to use the recognition as inspiration and a springboard to serve the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel selflessly.

Speaking on behalf of the award recipients, Sebastian Presley Vai thanked the hotel management for the recognition and said it would motivate the recipients to keep serving and giving their all to the hotel's growth and development.

The following employees were the award winners for the third quarter: Pelasio Sile Leota (Our People Award), Evelyn Fidow (Our Guest Award), and Faletufuga Furlong Lafoai (Our Company Award).

The following employees were the award winners for the fourth quarter: Hemi Maanaima (Our People), Jody Porter (Our Guest), and Meleke Matoka (Our Company).

The other award winners were Misialofa Siaumai in F&B (Honesty Award) as well as the following under the GM Award and Departmental Award category, Temple Leaupepetele (Front office), Presley Sabastian Vai (Admin), Saumani Laula (Kitchen), Divnesh Prasad (Maintenance), Rosapaepae Fuataina (F&B), Sapati Ioane Toalepai (Security), Benson Hunt (Garden), and Arieta Ropeti (Housekeeping).
