Ookla, the authority on mobile and internet speed, has declared Digicel Samoa the fastest mobile network provider in Samoa for the third time running.

Ookla utilises user-initiated tests completed on Speedtest to substantiate the award. Ookla is a global leader in mobile and broadband network intelligence, testing applications, and technologies.

Digicel Samoa coincided with this announcement with the launch of its “Be You” campaign that puts focus on its customers bringing to life the best versions of themselves.

Digicel Samoa Acting CEO, Peter Rigamoto, said that the theme of the new campaign was a fitting way to connect with our customers enabling them to be part of the award celebrations together with Digicel staff.

Digicel Samoa emerged as the winner of the Speedtest Award for mobile network speed in the country for the third and fourth quarters of 2022, adding to awards stretching back to the fourth quarter of 2021.

Mr. Rigamoto said this award serves as validation of the company’s efforts to provide superior internet services and the best possible experience for customers.
