Santa and his helper arrived a day early for the children of Samoa Victim Support Group's Campus of Hope, bearing good tidings and bags full of gifts.

Jim and Mindy Wiese, who are a missionary couple in Samoa, have been very active in their involvement with the humanitarian organisation  S.V.S.G.

For some of the children, they did not know who Santa was, as Jim who was already dressed in the Santa costume was a sight to behold.

The couple drocked up to the campus with Santa’s iconic bag of toys filled with Christmas gifts for all the children as they beamed with excitement.

The S.V.S.G. President Siliniu Lina Chang was deeply touched by the couple’s efforts to help spread joy amongst the children who were all smiles upon their arrival.

“This year has been a tough year for everyone and these children have been through a lot,” she said. “Jim and Mindy always bring a lot of joy to the children and the children love them.

“Their heart is with the children and we are honored that they are always willing to go above and beyond for these children.”

Siliniu said some of the children have not even celebrated Christmas, before joining the Campus of Hope as a resident and they are privileged to have supporters like Jim and Mindy helping out.

Jim and Mindy Wiese have been active in assisting the SVSG, specifically the spiritual programs for the children at the Campus.

“Thank you so much Jim and Mindy for loving our very special children. You have brought more than just spiritual healing to their lives. God bless and much alofa from the children of hope this Christmas.

"Have a joyous Christmas and a safer new year in God’s grace.”

She also took this opportunity to thank all the S.V.S.G. sponsors, supporters and friends for their effortless contribution in caring for the children.

The S.V.S.G. values everyone who has step forward to come to help the Children and wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a lovely New Year.
