Hollywood megastar Seiuli Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has a message for the Toa Samoa on the eve of their historic Rugby League World Cup (RLWC) grand final – have grit and define your legacy as Samoans.

In a video post on his Facebook and Instagram accounts on at around 1.28pm Thursday U.S. Pacific Standard Time (Friday 10.28am Samoa local time),  Seiuli spoke of the history that the Toa Samoa is making with their qualification for the RLWC grand final against Australia in Manchester, England this Saturday 4.00pm (Sunday 5am Samoa local time).

"Man here we go, I am delivering this message with boundless love and  boundless reverence and respect and boundless pride for my boys, my uso’s, the Toa Samoa rugby team," said the Hollywood megastar.

"They are going to the men’s final of the rugby league world cup. This is a big deal, they are making history in the world of sports, in the world of rugby.

"This is the first time that our island, our country, our culture of Samoa has ever gone to the finals for any sport. they are making history and I could not be more proud of them, we could not be more proud of them."

Seiuli then thanked fans who reached out to him to advise of the Toa Samoa qualifying for the RLWC grand final, saying he been "so snowed under" with worth, but he is now onto the big story that has literally captivated the Pacific Islands and he had a message for the players.

"I finally got the word, I wanted to jump on this, send a message. This Saturday is the big game. There are few things that I wanna share with you guys and I know you have so much on your mind right now. Pressure. Pressure. Pressure.

"The pressure to deliver, the pressure to perform, you have the world watching and you have so much on your shoulders.

"Right now you are proud grandsons, proud sons, proud husbands, proud fathers, proud teammates, proud brothers, proud uso’s."

Pointing to how much pressure the Samoan players are currently under, he said he knows what it is like and he believes they can handle it by having grit and be aware of the legacy that they are now on the verge of creating for Samoans everywhere.

"Pressure, I understand what it's like to have pressure. I understand what it is like to do stuff when the world is watching so a few things that I always think about when it comes to scenarios like this to happen, when I was playing football, it happened when I was wrestling for some of the biggest wrestlemania of all time," added Seiuli.

"It happened in this crazy world of Hollywood, it happened outside of Hollywood and all this other industries.

"When it comes to pressure and when it comes to delivering, you have so so many people relying on you, and you have it all on your shoulders. I understand.

"There’s a few things I that always think about and I want you guys to think about too. I know you got a lot of stuff on your mind. Number 1 is grit."
