Between the Lines
TAKEN
And then there was only one. It seems that someone has carried off one of the rubbish bins that was placed recently at Mulinuu near the maritime school.
CROSSING
Adults and children are still crossing from behind buses. The safest thing is to wait for the bus to move on. There have been too many accidents where people have been crossing behind or in front of buses.
SEATRADE
Samoa will take a delegation from the cruise Industry to take part in this year’s SeaTrade to be held in Florida, USA, from 7– April. It is an opportunity for Samoa to position itself as a desired cruise destination.
RETURNS
The tourism people spent approximately $75,000 last year for the Australian Expo and a similar amount was spent for New Zealand. Hopefully, we are getting the returns.
EXTINCTION
Meteors might have killed the dinosaurs, however, the extinction of the human race could be due to idiocracy. It is unbelievable what people will believe nowadays and some even act on it.
DEVICES
Earphones while crossing are bad enough. Some people keep staring at their electronic devices even at busy sections of the road. Some people only learn after they get hurt.
