CHILDREN CROSSING

Be careful when crossing the highway with multiple children. A child broke away from a group waiting to cross the road and dashed it. The child was lucky to have missed an oncoming car.

GOOD JOB

It was good to see the hardworking members of the Samoa Police setting up checkpoints at various locations trying to keep the roads safe in Samoa.

BINGO

The public holidays allowed some bingo operators to conduct two sessions in a day. If you had missing family members, you knew where they were.

SWIM

Many families took to the sea during public holidays, especially late afternoon, to escape the heat during the day. Please be mindful of the non-swimmers during such times.

EXPLOSIONS

They were not gunshots you heard on Tuesday night. A lot of bamboo guns were used to welcome the new year. Safety needs to be a priority as people have been injured using bamboo guns.

SAFETY

Safety remains a concern at construction sites. Workers seen doing heavy metal work without safety shoes and helmets.
