PM’s BACK

The prime minister was back in the country and opened a regional meeting. However, it is not clear how long will she stay in the country.

CABINET

The Cabinet had a meeting on Monday. With the PM back, there must have been a lot of papers to go through and a lot of approvals to sign. Wonder when the rest will return.

SCAM

Be careful as there is a fake local bank website asking people to login with their details. This is an ingenious way of scammers to steal valuable information and use that to steal money.

PROBE

There needs to be an investigation into how a brand new generator bought to use on the big island had developed problems. Hopefully, it is covered under warranty.

DEATH REPORT

Whatever has happened to the probe into the death of a linesman who was electrocuted while fixing a power line. This issue needs to have some light shed on it.

ETIQUETTE

A bureaucrat at a state-owned enterprise could do with email etiquette training. In his initial response to questions from the newspaper, had him responding with ‘flowery’ language.
