CHILDREN

It is a disturbing sight when primary school-aged children are seen roaming near the highway after 10 pm. Some are crossing roads near poorly lit sections of the road. Where are the parents?

PALOLO

It is that time of the year. A Pacific delicacy, the palolo worms should be rising anytime soon. Take heed of the weather and do not let non-swimmers enter the water. There have been mishaps in the past.

SEAWALL

The seawall in Sogi and along Beach Road needs a thorough cleaning. Water-blasting works should have started already. The walls in Sogi are black with dirt and grit.

VERY FISHY

If people continue catching undersized fish for sale, there will not be much left for the future. To make it worse, people continue to buy them even if overpriced.

EXPERTISE

The electric vehicles have zero emissions which is good for the environment. Let us hope that spare parts are affordable and there is an expert engineer on the island to deal with servicing and maintenance.

CRICKET SCORE

The Kiwi schoolboys posted a cricket score against our schoolboys a few days ago. It was 91-5. Development at primary and secondary level needs to be looked at again.
