LACKING

Hotels in Samoa need to improve not only their service but also the quality of food. A prominent hotel is in the spotlight for delayed service, awful cocktails, and not up-to-standard food.

HARD WORK

A man from Moataa walks with his sack of empty beer bottles to Suisega to collect money on the returns. He also collects more empties along the way. He says this is hard but better than stealing.

MISLEADING

Some customers who rushed to buy lunch specials for $10 from an eatery in town found the advertising to be very misleading. There were only four small pieces of chicken in one serve, unlike the picture in the advertisement.

SHOPLIFTERS

The number of footage from security cameras of shoplifters is increasing. The latest one from a well-known clothing store shows a woman tucking clothes under her skirt.

NO MEDIA

Wonder why the local media was not allowed any interaction with the visiting Commonwealth boss. A media event scheduled for Thursday was cancelled. Not very transparent.

UNHAPPIEST

A study in the US has found that teenagers and young adults called Generation Z are the world’s unhappiest people. This has to do with the amount of time they spend on social media.
