At least children in districts that chose to purchase wheelbarrows under the $1 million grant are happy. A group of children were seen last week having a wheelbarrow race. It's time to rethink the grant.

Who needs Santa Claus when you have a giving Board of Directors? A CEO departing from a state-owned enterprise is getting $10,000 as a gift and $15,000 is being used to hold her farewell party.

LUGGAGE

Passengers have all the right to be angry when their bags do not arrive however some passengers choose to bring in more than 10 suitcases compromising others' right to have luggage brought on time.

FOR SALE

Paraquat bought under the district grant is being resold in some villages. The weedkiller is banned in many countries but still used in Samoa. Surely, other tools are also up for sale during Christmas.

CHANGES

There must be a wind of change at the motor vehicle authority office. A customer was so satisfied that she posted about how it took only 15 minutes instead of two hours to renew her vehicle’s fitness.

HOUSE ON FIRE

Fireworks are bound to happen before New Year’s Day. With a senior politician making his parliamentary re-entry after his exile, it sure will be fiery and feisty.
