Thank you Moe Lei Sam

Dear Editor,

I want to thank you to Moe Lei Sam. Good on you Ms Lei Sam, it takes courage to speak up against the nonsense surrounding us on a daily basis. It is our Social Responsibility to question the answers before we accept it.

We Samoan people are the Legitimate Employers of these people, we hired these people and we pay them accordingly from our money to work for us.

We also have the power to remove these people according to their performance, and level of competence to do their work as we the Employer, the people of Samoa have assigned each one of them to do.

Every five years we hire people according to the background, and in good faith to work in all different offices to serve the people of Samoa.

And every election we look at each person’s performance to determine whether we should renew their contracts or not, and replace with those who are competence to do the work, and also for these people to understand who they working for, us the people of Samoa.

When people are hired and assigned to lead and hold positions in higher offices, you are going to be accountable, and you take no credits with the work we as the people pay you to do, it is what we the people expected and required of you.

You are going to be responsible and liable with negligence, and subject to serious of consequences of failing your role as Leaders of all forms. Your poor decision making, comes suffering.

This story reminds us, when a person could not give proper response to a direct issue, he/she is no longer capable to hold his or her position as we pay them to do in the first place.

Health is our life and cannot be bargained with.

Incompetence in any office especially in higher position is a disaster, and a nightmare for everyone.

So what do you think the people of Samoa? Are we happy and satisfy with the services given and the actions taken by those we hired?

Are we happy to continue paying these people with our money, and can’t wait to hire them again in the near future?

Do you know our rights and aware of the power we have to make chances in our government, and for the good of our beautiful country?

We can do Better: because we hired these people in the first place.

Love for our people and our culture and our country always.
