Apia Lions Club reaches out to Falealili

The Apia Lions Club and the National Kidney Foundation have been helping residents on the rural side of Samoa for the past two weeks.

Their medical mission has helped 59 residents of Sapunaoa, Piu, Salani and Poutasi Falealili who were checked for diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney health and other conditions.

The outreach was held at the E.F.K.S. Hall Sapunaoa, Falealili, the first of its kind for a long time.

A full report will be released by N.K.F. but anecdotal evidence suggests all but a few have health issues that need to be addressed.

Apia Lions Club wishes to continue this kind of service for the country and future notice will be given.
