Once again, the annual school prizegiving took place in L.D.S. Church Middle School Pesega. It was a wonderful event with many awards being presented to the pupils.

Several proud family members and staff, excited pupils, and special guests came to celebrate this event with the students.

The ceremony started with the opening hymn, „Did you think to pray?“ while the opening prayers were led by Brother Ponesi Filipo and opening remarks from the principal, Brother Mika Lolo.

This day was an opportunity to acknowledge and praise students’ achievements as well as the colleagues who provide excellent placements and support for the students of the L.D.S. Church Middle School Pesega.

They also thanked parents and teachers who have helped them this year.

Students received a wide range of prizes including the Library Citizen Award and Overall Academic Achievement Awards.

Apart from that the top three students in each subject per class and per level, as well as from each level  received a prize.

Towards the end, Special Awards for sports, service and leadership and donated scholarships were awarded.

“The awards highlight the excellent work that all staff and students put into their work, and it is great to see this rewarded,” Foketi Manon Fuimaono-Malo, the aunt of Raisa Adelle Burgess said.

“I wish that they would all study hard and give their best. Then they should all have a brighter future!“ she added.
