First impressions matter

Re: Door opens for direct flights between China and Samoa

The dilemma here, just to name a few issues, are the lack of quality and quantity of accommodations, poor road conditions, over the top charges for poorly maintained vehicles still operated by rental car companies in Samoa.

It is very well to receive, regular planeloads of tourists from China, Singapore, Hong Kong but where are we going to house them?

The Asian countries, the Samoa government is trying to attract tourists from, are first world countries, and tourists will demand the best of both world when visiting Samoa.

So Government, stop wasting money on building white elephants, and start planning, about how you’re going to meet the expectations of tourists from Asia, when they come to visit Samoa.

There is huge potential in this new agreement with China, that will bring benefit to the economy, not only government but for the people of Samoa. First Impression matters, If it is done right.
