Week 12 of the Upolu National Football League concluded at the Tuanaimato fields yesterday afternoon. Moaula FC and Vaiusu SC played out an entertaining 2-all draw, with Moaula’s U16 national team representative Samu Galu Tauasa nabbing an equaliser with the last kick of the game.

The Manu Samoa 7s prevailed over Australia in a see-saw 3rd place playoff at the Oceania Sevens in Fiji last night. Samoa started the game well, as Kerisimasi Savai’inaea ran in the first try off a great inside line.

Cahill international career ends with a win for Australia

Tim Cahill's farewell game for Australia ended in a 3-0 win over Lebanon on Tuesday, leaving the Socceroos' all-time leading scorer with 50 goals and 108 caps. Basketball tournament kicks off

The Samoa Basketball Federation started its four-day tournament at Apia Park gym earlier this week. The various categories competing in the tournament include open women and men, Under 17 and 14 boys, girls’ teams from Upolu, Savaii and an open men’s team from American Samoa.
