Technology makes the world goes round.

“Personally, I know that technology is good for us,” Iosefa Setu.

The 45 year old father from the village of Fusi Savai’i said that technology and changes are good because it shows we are moving forward.

“There is no bad thing about technology if we use it wisely, we all know that we make our work much easier because technology helps us a lot.”

He said that education has improved in so many ways because of technology.

“In our society today, teenagers love to use technology because it is like a tool that helps them in their homework from school.

“Technology is increasingly growing its importance in education and as parent we witness this every day, and the more technology advances, the more benefits it provides for students at every education level.

“In many schools, technology that is used in the classroom is very beneficial in helping the students understand and absorb what they are being taught.

“This also saves time and money, because otherwise parents would spend a lot to buy their children textbooks and other materials.

“Today, easy access to fast technology in classrooms makes it easier for our children to learn.

“Many schools are using a numbers of programmes on the internet during their lessons and what I’ve noticed is that these programmes are made available to students tests, activities and study questions that could help them  continue with the learning process.

“So we can’t just sit still while the whole world is moving forward, we have to move as well.”

He went on to say that instead of complaining about the changes, our people need to accept and adapt the changes we have in our society.

“The thing is, most of these things are new to all of us.

“Yes, in classrooms, students make use of computers to come up with presentations and also make use of the internet to carry out research on a variety of topics for their essays and papers.

“They also get to know how to use the technology available in the world today through the tech and computer classes.

“Therefore, technology is a very vital component of the society we live in today.”
