Having land

Dear Editor

Re: My family is so worth it

Every person who claims that Samoa is not poor or that there is no poverty in Samoa, directly attributes this fact to having access to land.

Once the government meddles in this reality with their plans for western capitalistic, corrupt, unlawful constitutional changes, land leasing, the ability to take mortgages out on land, and a British model of development, this will cease to exist.

There will then be absolute poverty in Samoa, and a huge gap between the haves and the have nots, just like in every other country where this has happened.

The foreign banks, foreign investors, and multinationals, will eventually own Samoa’s land if the PM and the HRPP continue on the path they are on in regards to land laws. It will no longer belong to the future children of Samoa.

Leave things as they were.

If it is not broken do not fix it!
