Two tries including a penalty try and a brace of penalty conversions from Patrick Faapale has give the Manu Samoa a commanding 23-3 lead in their Pacific Nations Cup clash at Apia Park.

Samoa scored a penalty try in the first 10 minutes before Jeff Lepa muscled his way over the line to give Samoa a 14-0 lead.

Tonga responded with a penalty conversion of their own to post their first points in the game, 14-3. But that’s as far as they got in terms of scoring.
