For the Year 8 students of Sataoa Primary School, their prize giving will be a lifetime memory.

Making their day special, a family donated 44 caps, gowns, tassel and sash for the 36 graduates at the Methodist Hall in Sataoa last week.

The donation came from Faagutu Salatielu Ah Colt, his siblings and their mother, Taelega Asenati Salatielu.

“Because of my son, Faletui James Salatielu, who was raised by my mom that was the main reason she wanted to donate the uniform, together with a trophy for the Dux student and a price for the student who took first place in mathematics,” Fa’agutu said.

Ulufale Pisu Maalo took first place overall, Sonior Samaeli took second place, and Shella Pauesi took third place.

The graduating uniform was purchased from Jostens Inc. in the U.S.A. while the sashes were sewn by Pesamino Samuela.
