Leave our land alone

Dear Editor

Re: Are we better off today?

It’s so easy, and it’s why money is the root of all evil, and absolute power in the hands of arrogant humans corrupt absolutely.

Land is given monetary value and it will end up in the possession of people with lots of money.

And with the modern ways of Politics and Economics, and with Leaders deluding themselves in their self- righteous political ideology and devilish economic manoeuvrings, the only Real wealth most Samoans have naturally - family land- is lost forever.

I have been saying, slow down, and stop the Government when it passes laws to transgress on the sovereignty of Samoan Culture in possession of Samoan Land. Samoans are slowly coming back to Samoa with money and other means to develop their own Family lands.

Parliament has no right to legislate away the cultural right and cultural ownership of Samoan Lands in the foolish worship of some exaggerated and unnecessary modern developments.

The world does not end in our life-time.

Leave the Land for our Families and Children in the Future.

They will know better how to live freely in the world without losing their Souls and selling the Lands to the Devil.

They will honour God more than they love their worldly aspirations.
