The Zone A Schools Rugby 15s competition has kicked off another week of exciting school rugby. It was held at the Leiifiifi College grounds.

Avele College retained their Shield in the Under-15 and Under-17 grades, while Leiifiifi College defended the Under-19 Shield after defeating Anoama’a College 36-0 at fulltime.

The Under-15 division saw Leiifiifi College and Avele College winning by default against their opponents Aleipata and Vaimauga College, while Samoa College was on bye.

The Under-17 division clashes saw Aleipata College defeating Falealili College 10-3 at fulltime, Leiifiifi College winning against Samoa College 12-9 and Avele College winning by default against Vaimauga College in the Under-17 Shield match.

Avele College took on Vaimauga College in the Under 19 division, but went down 8-0 at fulltime. Samoa College defeated Palalaua College 22-17 with Leiifiifi College retaining their Shield title.

Today is the next round of Zone A Schools Rugby 15s Championships at the Leiifiifi College grounds.
