All these laws

Re: Ex-cop cries foul

It appears that every legislation passed into law and amendment to the Constitution are for the protection of government not for the people and an effort to deflect criticisms.

Even elections laws were made to protect the government from being defeated. Amendments made to the L.T.R.A. 2008 Customary Land Alienation was meant to give the appearance of the government doing what is best for the Samoan people.

But those Amendments were a testimony of their dealings and intended motives as servant in the highest level and in a magnitude not seen or known before, if successful every single Samoan families gets robbed.

The whole country for that matter, not just a few things but everything except clothes and vehicle if they do have one.

Now another law has just passed the third reading in less than an hour which may very well be a record settings speed a bill is passed into law.

And the reason given was to protect members of the public from defamation, but the only person this law is used for is O.L.P.

I guess we can all say the government’s justification statements to every proposed Amendment and legislation is not new, it’s an old one.

So this policy applies only to the police department, but what about other government ministries?

Are they immune from this law?
