The cost of ignorance

Dear Editor,

Thank you for your editorial titled “The cost of corruption, negligence and ignorance in interesting Samoa.”

Awesome reading.

It’s sad that the Samoa Observer keeps on informing the very people who do not know what corruption is and yet they still have not learned.

The voters are the only ones who could drain the swamp but they won’t.

Like the government they have no common sense to see street vendors as a sign of poverty and had to have a report in order to know this, our people too have no common sense to see the root cause of the state that they are in and try to remove it but rather they like to suffer and complain.

I am beginning to think its a hopeless situation when our people are so used to living in poverty and complain, it’s become their natural habitat.

I hope with many informative reports from this newspaper, some might wake up and see, if not then keep on complaining, that is where your vote put you,   into a dry swamp.
