PARIS (AP) — No. 8 Damien Chouly and center Mathieu Bastareaud will miss France's match against Ireland in the Six Nations on Saturday.

The French Rugby Federation said Chouly sprained an ankle in training on Monday, while Bastareaud was ruled out as a precautionary measure because he was concussed while playing for club side Toulon against Lyon on Saturday.

Chouly, who has 45 test caps, will be replaced by Raphael Lakafia, who has four caps.

The FFR did not immediately say if Bastareaud, who has 39 caps, would be replaced.

France has lost to England away and beaten Scotland at home.

Ireland has lost at Scotland and beaten Italy in Rome.
