Lupesoliai Joseph Parker’s promoter, Segiali’i David Higgins, had to be restrained by security officials during a commotion between at pre-fight press conference in London.

Lupesoliai is defending the WBO heavyweight title against Hughie Fury in Manchester on Sunday.

According to fighterspeak.com, the lead up has been plagued with promoter disputes and a lack of promotion by Hennessy Sports resulting in the fight not being picked up by any PPV outlets. 

Things were only made worse as the British Boxing Board of Control announced an English referee who has handled Fury's last two fights would be in charge leading to David Higgins citing a contract breach. 

Things took a further turn when Segiali’i turned up to the press conference late and apparently drunk and started accusing Hughie Fury's coach Peter Fury of not conducting fair play.
