Thank you for considering safety of the public

Dear Editor,

I must thank the Tafa’igata Prison Spokesperson, Sagaga Galu Frost, for enlightening us on why there were fewer prisoners on parole on the Mothers Day weekend.

It is such a relief for me to know that they have finally taken into consideration the safety of the country and it also seems that you are now making use of the rules and regulations as you stated that "This is now being enforced."

Something that should have been done in the first place.

I just want to remind you that you don't need more law-breaking and more allegations to enforce rules and regulations.

And, if prisoners do not meet the criteria for weekend paroles, then hard luck.

I suggest you put your personal affections aside and you'll see that rules were made to control and manage behavior, not any sort of punishment.

Thank you.
