Ignoring the obvious

Re: Vaisigano Beach

When the late Aggie Grey was alive, this beach remained clean.

After every flooding from the river that washes debris to the ocean and end up on the shore, Aggie would make one phone call to the P.M to clean up and the government acted accordingly.

The Aggie Grey’s Hotel was a symbol of Samoa Tourism and the government protected that historical view. Sadly, those days are gone. The government is putting money in their pockets and ignoring the obvious.

I am surprised the P.M has not made a public and an embarrassing statement like ummm the Tourism Group should clean up the beach.

We’re living in different times. The government is getting rich by deferring its responsibilities to the public.
