The worst deal

Dear Editor,

Let me say this. The $6million loan to a Chinese businessman is robbing money belonging to all Samoans in broad daylight while everyone is watching with their eyes open.

The now former C.E.O of S.N.P.F. and the PM/H.R.P.P. Cabinet board approved this $6million loan knowing very well that is the riskiest business deal ever.

The main security for the $6million loan is the H.R.P.P built Vaitele market which was paid for by Samoan taxpayers (using borrowed money.)

If the Chinese businessman leaves Samoa or fails in this business venture then Samoans not only loses $6million tala from their savings but gets back the Vaitele market that already cost $millions of tala to Samoans.

This is the worst deal approved by the former C.E.O of S.N.P.F and P.M./H.R.P.P. Cabinet and witnessed by everyone in Samoa.
