Cabinet assesses cyclone damage

Cabinet has completed its Post Cyclone Gita onsite inspections with Prime Minister Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Dr. Saielele Malielegaoi visiting Savai’i last Friday.

Cabinet members were divided into two teams with Deputy Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa leading one and Prime Minister Tuilaepa the other.

The visit is part of the government’s due diligent process to compile the Damaged Assessment Report for Cyclone Gita.

The cost of the damage should be known by this week.
