Business Systems Limited (B.S.L.) continued the celebration of its 40th birthday in Savai’i last week.

Owner Meilan Meredith, her staff and the company’s supporters all share the belief that what is good for Upolu is also great for the big island.

With that, they packed their party hats and headed to Savai’i for a grand celebration.

Principals from each school in Savai’i together with heads of government ministries, private sector and companies attended the celebration at Jet Over Hotel.

“B.S.L.  started from a humble beginning of a small shop at the Taufusi three corner with few products,” said Mrs. Meredith.

“It was the grace of God who helped me through this journey, and I thank God for his love and his knowledge that continues whispering to my ears day by day and that is why I’m here today.

“I also thank my husband, Mr. Tiufea Rudy Meredith and my kids for supporting me and pushing me to be strong and preserve.

“I also thank my valued customers, you and your daily business brought me to where I am today.”

One of the milestones that B.S.L. implemented four years ago was opening of its services on the big island of Savai’i. Manned by four staff members, it is managed by Fatu Togisia Malaefono.

The store sells stationery, office furniture, electronic products, white ware, and much more.

B.S.L. employs more than 50 staff members at Taufusi and Salelologa.

The service was conducted by Father Visesio of Don Bosco

The celebration in Savai’i followed the birthday celebrations in Upolu which started with a parade.
