PERTH, Australia (AP) — Wallabies flanker David Pocock will miss the remainder of the Rugby Championship after suffering a broken hand during Saturday's test against Argentina in Perth.

The 28-year-old Pocock has only recently returned to the Australia team after suffering a broken eye socket during the June test series against England. His international career has twice been interupted by knee reconstructions.

A Wallabies team spokesman said Pocock is to undergo minor surgery in Perth to help repair the fracture.

Australia is currently second in the Rugby Championship after Saturday's 36-20 win over Argentina. New Zealand clinched the title with their 41-13 win over South Africa earlier Saturday.

The Wallabies have away matches remaining against Argentina and South Africa.
