Change people’s attitudes first

Re: Well done Samoa 

Yes, the “training” is working... 

Perhaps a tour of Tafa’igata dump will be more educational for visitors to Samoa, in that you will see the effects of our modernism and consumerism culture at work. 

You may also like point out to visitors the open air dump, the once proud Toa tree bedraggled with plastic bags and the nappies of a newer generation blowing in the wind... I’ve said it before, Samoa needs a recycling and power generation waste disposal system, where organic and inorganic material is used for fuel to generate steam-powered generators for electricity.

As for the dogs, they aren’t the problem; it’s the attitude people have about caring for animals that’s the problem.
