The real World Cup in Samoa
THIS IS THE REAL THING: The N.Z. High Commission in Samoa had a couple of special visitors last week.
They were former All Black and Hurricanes legend, Rodney So’oialo and the Webb Ellis Cup.
So’oialo was in Samoa to support an exciting New Zealand-funded sports partnership aimed at reducing non-communicable diseases by promoting healthy lifestyles, active living and better nutritional choices.
Through the programme, N.Z. Rugby will introduce Pacific kids to a type of rugby known as ‘Quick Rip’ — for which Sooilo is an official spokesperson. So’oialo is pictured with Mike Walsh and his staff.
