Manufacturing plant needed

Dear Editor

Re: Frozen taro, breadfruit a hit in Australia

I wonder if it’s a local endeavor or an Australian buying produce from Samoan farmers and manufacturing it abroad?

I don’t think the freezing and packaging plant is in Samoa but I could be wrong.

Regardless, I guess it’s still good that farmers have someone to sell their produce to rather than just having to sit in the hot sun trying to sell it in the market.

It would be good to have a plant in Samoa and to export the goods already frozen and packaged.
